I have been a lecturer at Departament d'Arquitectura de Computadors (DAC), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), since 2023. I defended my PhD in DAC on 2019. I was awarded a Margarita Salas postdoctoral grant. I hold a Master of Research in Industrial Computing and Advanced Production Techniques (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, UAB), a Degree in Industrial Engineering (UPC), a Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation (UPC), and a Degree in Computer Systems (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, UOC). I am currently teaching degree and master's courses at the Barcelona School of Informatics (Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona, FIB). I previously taught at DAC (2021–23, external professor), UAB (2002–05, associat professor), and UOC (2003–07, external professor). I have supervised degree and master's final projects. As a researcher, I have been involved in several European and nationally funded research projects. My research interests have evolved from community networks towards distributed ledger technologies in general and e-voting in particular. I am a co-founder. I am a co-founder of Routek SL SME and Expansió de la Xarxa Oberta association. I am a member of the Internet Society Catalan chapter (ISOC-CAT) and of the Catalan professional association of Industrial Engineers (IEC). Some of my previous positions include being a research engineer at the guifi.net Foundation (2011–19), an IT manager in the public sector (2009–10). I have participated in some Internet governance fora (IETF, ICANN, RIPE-NCC, ITU). In my spare time, I contribute to guifi.net community network and other non-profit projects.

I am open to supervising final degree projects (Treballs Final de Grau, TFGs) and final Master's projects (Treballs Final de Màster, TFMs).
