My life in six words: Restless pursuer of ever elusive enlightenment.

Bio

I was born in 1968 in Venezuela. As a child, I was always interested in creating things and my favorite (and almost only) toy was a Lego. I was therefore very sure I wanted to be an industrial or mechanical engineer until computers crossed in my life at 13 and I realized they where the Lego of technology.

I have a wonderful child called Adrian (born at 2003), a perfect example of a  “complex , adaptive learning system”.

My interests includes arts, politics, human behavior, computer science, religion, ecology, management, science fiction . . . My research interest are therefore very diverse and take ideas from different fields.

I enjoy living and working in a multicultural environment.

Now, seriosly, you don't come to your subject. It happens, much like an accident, I mean.

Which is you day job?

This is my day job. I'm a reseacher. No, really, I'm being paid for doing this.

Have you ever sent a paper ahead of the deadline?

Nop, and I'm not aware of anybody who has actually done so. See, I take deadlines very seriously. They are there to be met, right? So, what's the idea of sending a paper ahead of the deadline? Besides, it has been shown that working close to a deadline boots creativity.
