I moved to the University of Cambridge as a Research Associate. This is my new web page ! This page is no longer active.
I was a PhD student in the Distributed Systems Group at UPC-BarcelonaTech working with Prof. Felix Freitag as my first advisor and Prof. Luis Veiga from INESC-ID/IST Lisboa as my second advisor. I was funded by the EMJD-DC international doctoral programme in Distributed Systems.
I was previously a student at Saarland University Graduate School of Computer Science and Max Planck Institute for Software Systems (MPI-SWS) where I worked with Allen Clement. I obtained my master degree from Sapienza University of Rome, where I worked with Prof. Leonardo Querzoni in the MIDLAB laboratory.I am interested in design and evaluation of robust and dynamic decentralized systems, services and applications. In particular, I am interested in network-aware service placement methodologies in decentralized clouds such as community network micro-clouds.
