 I'm an assistant professor and Ph.D. student at the Computer Architecture Department (DAC) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and an associate researcher at the BSC-CNS.

I'm currently lecturing on Administration of Operating Systems (ASO) at the Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB). I previously lectured on Operating Systems (SO) (and still do sometimes). I also advise students on their final thesis (PFC) for their degrees.

My research is mainly focused on runtime and compiler techniques to enhance parallel computation specifically in the OpenMP language of which I am a Language Comittee member. My research is organised within the High Performance Computing Group at the DAC and within the Programming Models Group at BSC.
